Halu. Napadaan lang. Ako nga pala si Bordz, isang cute na cute na pet sa mundo ng peysbuk. Gusto ko lang ishare tong piktyur na to na kuha sa aking bahay habang nagmumuni-muni sa aking munting desk dahil kabibili ko lang nito. Ayos ba? Medyo wala pang laman kasi ako'y kumakayod pa para makabili ng iba pang gamit na kakailanganin ko. Grabe din. Kailan lang ako dito pero eto sobrang naaaliw sa mga nangyayari sa pang-araw araw na buhay ko at siyempre sa mga kasama kong pet dito na aking trinatabaho din..har..har...

Beating Up the Summer Heat
Just recently Pagasa warns of 40-degree summer heat.
Yes the Summer heat is on and there's possibility of hotter and hotter summers because of Global warming. It is important for everyone to understand that some people are especially likely to get sick when they are in weather that is very hot.
And before that happens, here are some things you can do:
DRINK -- Drink plenty of cool fluids, even if you are not physically active and even if you are not thirsty. If you are physically active, drink 2-4 glasses (16-32 ounces) every hour. Check with your doctor if you are on a fluid-restricted diet. Avoid very cold liquids as they can cause stomach cramps. Avoid liquids with alcohol, caffeine, and large amounts of sugar as these actually increase the loss of body fluid. Drinking fruit juice and sports beverages help replace necessary salt and minerals lost from the body through sweating.
DRESS - Wear lightweight, light-colored, loose-fitting clothing. Add a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses and sunscreen (SPF 15 or higher) if headed outdoors.
DECREASE - Limit physical activity and stay indoors in an air-conditioned space (home, shopping mall, library). During an extreme heat wave, listen to the radio to hear where emergency places to get cool are being set up. Electric fans will not prevent heat-related illness when the temperature climbs into the high 90s.
DEFEND - If working outside in the heat, monitor coworkers and have them do the same for you. Check on the elderly at least twice a day. Check infants and children frequently. Check on those who are overweight or who are ill.
DEMONSTRATE - Demonstrate common sense. Avoid hot foods and heavy meals. Make sure animals and pets have plenty of fresh water and shade. Consider bringing pets inside and consider wetting down outside animals..
DON'T -- Do NOT leave people or pets in a parked car for any length of time for any reason.
Prevention is better than cure.

Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits.
Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule."
Because:
Evening at 9 - 11pm : is the time for eliminating unnecessary toxic chemicals (de-toxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes).This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.
Evening at 11pm - 1am : is the de-toxification process in the liver,and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 1 - 3am : de-toxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.

Hard Choices Ahead
Wow, where do I begin?
I just wanna talk about the movement going on around me. First, I know that most of us if not affected, had been aware of the crisis the world has been experiencing for months now. I've heard and read some stories about it and even I know some friends who had been layed off and had caused them trauma. It is sad when you're being singled out in terms of LIFO(Last In First Out), as if you never got the chance to fight.
And amidst about all this, there's still high attrition to some companies you might seem stable.(The ones we know that is not affected of the crisis) But why the attrition, there might be something wrong. What you think?
Anyways, whether we are in or out of the crisis, for me, the bigger picture is we still seek for bigger opportunities once they are needed or rather not getting what's your worth to the company, because if not all most of us, has dreams that we hold on to.
On the other hand, when you are the company, you also have the options of letting your employees go coz you need to make some reduction and employees can't do anything about that. Or rather, companies can keep the one's loyal but they never know what's their worth. I believe that's there's a lot of situations that are unselfish they just come through case to case.
The point is we all have a choice. We just have to pick what we know is best. Even President Obama has a choice, even Hard Choices Ahead.

I din't really put emphasis on the rating part, actually I just summarized it like all ratings were at the good rating because I believe I've been a good employee to them abiding with company processes and policies, having delivered the tasks and projects and performed my duties and responsibilities.
I was more into the issues and concerns, this is as follows:

Certification Allowances
We do have allowances for MCP, MCAD, et al. And still we are asking for an additional allowance that includes MCTS certification since we've been developing our projects in .NET framework 2.0.
But a phased-out certifications policy is currently being studied,
My stand is that we are still handling projects under 1.1 .NET Framework and ASP classic so we still want the old allowance retained. The point is -- could we make that as an accumulative incentive or should there be other alternatives?
-Reminds me of this line-
"Professionals are not born. They are certified..." And phased-out?!?
Incentives for projects
We are given this because we are developing a project on a tight schedule that would require us to work on weekends or even on holidays. It will be per phase/stage of the project. Hoping the policy would be clear as to when is effective and how will the process be.
Laptops
We've raised this recently for mobility purposes. Since we are having a tight schedule on the project, why not have laptops so that if we needed to work on tough scheds, we could easily work even at home.

Certification that may not be needed over time shall be removed from the tiers table. There shall be no compensations for phased-out certifications and titles.
My stand is that we are still handling projects under 1.1 .NET Framework and ASP classic so we still want the old allowance retained. The point is -- could we make that as an accumulative incentive or should there be other alternatives?

Incentives for projects
We are given this because we are developing a project on a tight schedule that would require us to work on weekends or even on holidays. It will be per phase/stage of the project. Hoping the policy would be clear as to when is effective and how will the process be.
Laptops
We've raised this recently for mobility purposes. Since we are having a tight schedule on the project, why not have laptops so that if we needed to work on tough scheds, we could easily work even at home.

Doon Sa May Niyugan
Kapag medyo nasstress ako ang kalimitan kong gawain ay magsearch sa net ng mga lugar na magandang puntahan. Inuusisa ang bawat sulok ng larawan at pinagmamasdan ang kani-kanilang kagandahan. Kahit nakababad lang ako sa aking working chair na animo'y pigang piga na, nakakaya kong huminga at makapagrelax na tila nasa mismong lugar ako na aking hinahangaan.
Di ba ang sarap tumambay dito sa may nyugan.
Para sakin, sobrang ibang enjoyment ang aking napagkukuha kahit sa pamasid-masid lang sa mga tanawin. Sadyang tumatahimik ang aking paligid. Ang aking kaisipan. Para bang iniiwan ko pansamantala ang mga bagay bagay na nakapatong sa aking ulo.
Ngayong araw lang na ito ko isasantabi ang pagiging busy. Hayaan nyo naman akong magchill, mag-let-loose.
Totoo na ito, sama ka?!
Taunan ang reunion naming mag-anak na ginaganap pag mayrong engrandeng bakasyon ang karamihan sa amin. Kung palagian sa Puerto Beach kami, maiba naman kami ngayon para mas masaya. May konting araw lang ang aming pagplaplano, pero wala na talagang makakapigil pa samin. Excited na!
Kasama ang mga pinsan, relatives, friends at syempre ang aking beloved family, bitbit ang mga pagkain at mga kakailanganin sa aming munting picnic, binaybay namin ang kahabaan ng Ilocos.
At nakarating din sa Pagudpud. Sa Saud Beach Resort kami tumuloy at doon kami nagbreakfast. Saglit pa lang ang aming pahinga pero naexcite na kami sa beach. Wow, grabe ang ganda ng Pagudpud!, panay mutawi saming mga labi. White beach, malinis ang tubig parang swimming pool lang pero iba pa rin talaga pag andun ka.
Sarap ng pakiramdam na parang wala ng bukas...
Langoy langoy na akala mo naman professional swimmer...

At agawan ng lugar...lugar sa PICTURE! rawr..
Cge tambay na nga muna kami.. at maya-maya eh makapamasyal pa.
