Palawan is worldly known with its Puerto Princesa Subterranean River as it is listed one of UNESCO's World Heritage Site and close to becoming the "New Seven Wonders of Nature". It is also known as St. Paul Underground River which attracts more and more tourists every time.
But wait there's more...
There are a lot of beautiful islands in Palawan that you can visit and one of them is Coron.
Coron as spelled up on a hill like the infamous Hollywood Sign.
When you are on your way to island hopping, just gaze around and you will see a lot of islands with hidden beauty like this.

This is Mini-Boracay, a mini island version of Boracay. It is privately owned but we were told about how beautiful it is to compare to the no. 1 tourist spot in the Philippines, Boracay.
ISLAND HOPPING
Banana Island
Spell A-W-E-S-O-M-E-N-E-S-S.
After about one and a half hour travelling via boat away from Coron Port, you will surely greet this paradise with a smile.

The place is noticeably clean. The waters, sand and just anywhere, you will see no dirt or unpleasing to your eyes.

No need to wear goggles under the sea as it is crystal clear and not irritating to the eye.

But of course, you have to have a water-proof camera to capture these sweet creatures under the sea.

I definitely love it here. White and fine sands that could give Boracay a run for its money as they would say.
Malcapuya Island
Just across Banana Island is Malcapuya Island, it is about 15 minutes away. Though I like more of Banana Island, Malcapuya is just equally worth a visit too.

This island adventure is totally excellent. All expenses from the boat, entrance fees, food and merienda was part of our Darayonan Ultimate 4d3n Package.
School is about to end. It's the time of the year where everyone is out and about seeking the sun.
Planning for a summer vacation yet?
If you are looking for a nice and quiet view aside from being a beautiful beach. Then, let's go to Cebu. There are a lot of places to visit in Cebu, but what I really enjoyed most is Bantayan island.

When in Bantayan Island
St. Peter and Paul Church
Ogtong Cave inside Santa Fe Beach Club
Madridejos Kota Park and Bontay Baywalk
Merienda at Kermit’s
D’Jungle Buffet Dinner every Friday
Visit local market for pasalubong (offers the best danggit and a variety of dried fishes)

You can rent a motorbike/motorcycle for about a 100/hour and drive around the small island of Bantayan consisting of three towns: Santa Fe, Madridejos and Bantayan.
The two(2) published photos are my favorite taken at the beachfront of Budyong Beach Resort. Just thought I made my own postcard. :P
I've never known my hometown to be this beautiful and inviting. Until we chanced to celebrate our family reunion last 2008 in Ilocos Norte. Since then I've been helping out friends on how to visit the place. Or if not, their travel buddy.
Here are the list of places to visit when in Ilocos arranged according to the farthest from the North.
PAGUDPUD, ILOCOS NORTE
There are 3 must see places in Pagudpud.
Patapat Viaduct / Patapat BridgeThis is a beautiful bridge that is zigzag in shape and attached to the mountain constructed to prevent accidents on the area. The bridge connects the tip of Ilocos Norte to Cagayan Valley Region.
Blue Lagoon BeachA hidden beach that is, for me, better than Saud Beach. The water is more calm and clean.Hannah Beach Resort is the common place to stay here.
Kabiga FallsKabiga Falls is a thirty (30) minute trek away from the national highway. You will be accompanied by tourist guide that waits on the station near the highway. You have to pay Php150 for the tour guide plus Php10 per head for the visit. There are about 70 tourist guide that goes back and forth for three times during April, their peak month.
Saud Beach by edcadenaEqually beautiful beach as that of Blue Lagoon is Saud Beach. Saud Beach is more famous because the views is more appealing compared to Blue Lagoon. There are about 5 resorts or more that you could stay and chose from.
BANGUI, ILOCOS NORTE
Bangui WindmillsThis amuses me because the structure is huge in size and in number. More details of Bangui windmill.
BURGOS, ILOCOS NORTE
Kapurpurawan Rocks from candymag.comAnother worth a visit is Kapurpurawan Rocks. The rock formation feel is like you have travelled to another country.
Cape Bojeador LighthouseThis lighthouse was built in 1892 but still functions and welcomes ships that enter the Philippines in the North. Now serves as a historical landmark and a cultural treasure.
PAOAY, ILOCOS NORTE
San Agustin Church / Paoay ChurchWe have four baroque churches that have been inscribed to UNESCO World Heritage List. Two (2) of them are from Ilocos, Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur and San Agustin Church in Paoay, Ilocos Norte.

Here are the travels I made for the year that was 2010.
Mount Pinatubo
The Majestic Climb
I started my travel for 2010 on the month of March. Finally, after years of thinking about this adventure, yes since 2008, I have finally laid foot majestically on Mount Pinatubo together with my friends.

Singapore and Malaysia
Business-Trip-turned-Vacation-Trip
Last April of 2010 was supposed to be a business trip with my colleagues where we should be attending some appointments and getting some interviews but it din't turned to be that when we were already there.

The look of the Merlion seemed to conquer us so we submitted. And of course, we had a side trip to Malaysia too.
(Post yet to be published)
Pagudpud
More of Ilocos
Another trip I made was September 2010 when I toured my friend round my hometown. I was with my brother, sister and cousin and there's a lot more that we discovered since we had our traditional family reunion last 2008.

Cabugao Fun Run and Arangkada Todo-todo Santo Domingo
Travel on Foot
Travelling is not just about climbing the mountains, going to the beach, island hopping or going wherever but to the very means of taking or running the miles. (NAKS! akala mo anlayo ng narating eh :P) Well, what I mean is having experienced a fun run is worth a distance travelled. I din't have to go somewhere but my hometown to experience like this. I both took 5k on two (2) different events, Cabugao Fun Run and Arangkada Todo-todo Santo Domingo. This was last October and December of the same year respectively.

Hanapin nyo ko..

I did organized all these travels except of course for the fun run and it was kinda hard doing all the itineraries, bookings and also guiding the people you travel with but at the end of the day, its a feeling of accomplishment and pure admiration on nature and fun of travelling.

I've always dreamed to visit this place they call Anawangin Cove. It is one of the tourist attractions found in San Antonio, Zambales. Famous for his crescent shaped cove with a pristine white sand beach.
Getting To Anawangin
From Manila, you can drive or take a bus to San Antonio, Zambales that will take you approximately 6 hours. It is advisable to leave Manila at night so it wouldn’t be hot while traveling. Upon arriving at San Antonio you can rent a boat for P1500.00(round trip) at Pundaquit that will lead you to Anawangin about 30 minutes away or either trek on the Pundaquit range about 6 hours.
What To Bring
Bring lots of drinking water since water pump is not safe
Bring your own food
Bring your own tent if you wish to sleep
What To Expect
There are no modern facilities in Anawangin
There are only a couple of toilets
What To Do
Visit the nearby Nagsasa Cove, Anawangin Cove and Silanguin Cove
rock climbing at Camara Island
Trek to Capones Lighthouse
Camping
Trek to Mt. Pundaquit
Swimming

Picture a paradise..

Isn't it nice to discover the beauty and serenity of Calaguas Group of Islands.
This is a group of islands in Vinzons, Camarines Norte. One of the island is Tinaga Island where the famous long white sand beach called "Mahabang Buhangin" as seen on the picture taken by Analyn.
This paradise is yet to be uncovered, as for now, I'll take it to my Travel Bucket List.
I started to love travelling when I had the chance to go to Bicol. It was then an immediate plan with my friend Misch. Eric, whose home to this tourist destination became our instant tourist guide and led us to experience a great weekend escapade.
We did not have any itinerary for this trip so when we got there we just go wherever Eric recommends.
Day 1 - Mayon Volcano and Sabang Beach
There is only one place we know of about Bicol that time and for sure, is the very first place we wanted to see. That is the almost perfectly-shaped cone, Mayon Volcano. This one filled up our morning activity. Before we went home later that day, we passed by Sabang Beach to refreshen and feel the heat of the summer.
Day 2 - Nature Tripping and Atulayan Island
On our second day, we went nature tripping to Barangay Napawon - the place where Eric and his family previously resided. The views from the place were just so lively and green, does not only relaxes the eye but also the feeling.
And then we get to ride a bangka going to our next stop, the Atulayan Island. We got really so excited but kinda scary because it was our first time sailing through the deep waters. This all faded when we got there. It was just unbelievable. The place where soon I'd say, Magayon ang Bikol. Magayon ang Pilipinas!!
Day 3 - PierOne 69
On our last day, we just had a chillax day. We stayed at PierOne 69 Beach Resort had our snacks and videoke showdowns. On that side, the Atulayan Island is seen.
In the afternoon, we had city tour of Naga City with our remaining time left.
