Isn't it nice to discover the beauty and serenity of Calaguas Group of Islands.

This is a group of islands in Vinzons, Camarines Norte. One of the island is Tinaga Island where the famous long white sand beach called "Mahabang Buhangin" as seen on the picture taken by Analyn.

This paradise is yet to be uncovered, as for now, I'll take it to my Travel Bucket List.

Charice has also been included in Billboard death anniversary tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson which she has done the video most likely the same time she was casted to the popular TV Series, Glee.

Restoring a VSS Server to another server

Easy steps I have taken in restoring an old VSS server to a new VSS server. (Thanks to the wizards :P)

1. Open your Visual SourceSafe Admin and locate your old VSS server.
2. Go to Archive menu tab and click on Archive Projects. A wizard appears asking you to choose the projects to be archived. Name your file (*.ssa) and place the file to a location where you can access later on.
3. Once archiving is successful, open the new VSS server.
4. Go back to Archive menu tab but this time click Restore Projects. A wizard then appears and it will prompt you to locate the *.ssa file you save on Step 2.
5. A dialog box will appear once the restoration is successful.

Ready for June 30: Would it be Noynoy or Twilight?

'Bagong Pilipinas' is the inaugural song composed by Ogie Alcasid and Noel Cabangon to be performed by Alcasid himself, Jim Paredes, Mae Paner, Nina, Christian Bautista, Cabangon, Gary Valenciano and Regine Velasquez.

Noynoy has completed writing about an 8-10 minute inaugural address that would be short but substantial.

Even sister and Queen of All Media Kris Aquino had her share of preparation, leaving 'The Buzz' and 'SNN' in order to distance herself to any intrigues during his brother Noynoy's Presidency term.

Yes, the stage is set for this million-peso budgeted event.

However, the much-anticipated and much talked-about Twilight Saga: Eclipse is set to release on the same date. Movie tickets from various online sites and booths have been on sale. And the clash between the vampires and werewolves begins with Team Edward and Team Jacob.

Where will you be? Team Edward? Team Jacob? Or Team Noynoy or should I say Team Pilipinas?

Forty days.

Some people may have a different understanding or thing about this day but this post is about remembering our lost loved ones on its 40th day.

In the Philippines, it is a visit and prayer that is commonly believed the soul of the departed goes to Heaven 40 days after death, following the belief that Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven after the said period of days.

I have come to realize that it is nothing wrong to remember or mourn about our loved ones who have departed but there should not be an idea that the soul is still in the living world not until 40 days. When death comes, we lost connection to those loved ones and is already taken where it truly belongs. If there is any act or doing as such, it is the work of Demons or Satan that can transform in any figure even to that of the departed one.

At eto mga kalimitang dahilan nila sa pagleleave:

1. I need to rest. Bakit? Pagod na? Tanda na, di na kaya ng tuhod? Ewan ko sau, sige na nga magrest ka na nga lang.
2. Shopping galore/Christmas shopping. So kelangan pa bang mangealam? Eh sa gustong magshopping eh, mayaman ka?
3. Party/Anniversary. As in madaming kaarawan. Son's birthday, Wife's birthday, Father's birthday, lahat na ng miyembro ng pamily. Mga anniversary pwede pa eh, pero pag monthsary kaya pa bang i-approve yan? Isama pa ang Martin Luther Day sa bakasyon, ano ba?!
4. Out-of-town. Keso madaming pupuntahan - 2 days at puerto, going to baguio with family, church wedding at davao, summer in boracay at kahit paglalakbay sa ibayong dagat - hongkong, singapore, china at US. Buti walang roundtrip to the moon. Tae!

Ang saya-saya naman talaga oh. Pero etong dahilan na to siguro yung pinaka-dabest. Wala ka ng masasabi. As in hindi mo kelangang magpaliwanag. Hindi tayo close, period!

5. Bakasyon.

Another must-see appearance of Youtube sensation turned international popstar, Charice Pempengco as confirmed in her Twitter page is her being part of the ever successful US musical comedy series, Glee. According to her OfficialCharice Twitter page, 'It's official. I'm on Glee (next season) but story behind it. When d rumor came out, it wasn't true.'

After hitting the Billboard charts, here's another milestone that Filipinos can be proud of and there's no stopping her. 'I tried to audition. And i made it!!! Let's Party!!!!', she adds.

So now, can you imagine Charice belting out together with Rachel Berry played by Leah Michelle? Well, I think that would be cool.

New Designer for Blogger Template

I was surprised to see there's a new customization feature by Blogger wherein you can choose default designs for your template, background images, layout and other settings.

I think this is just timely for me since I am reconstructing my blog. Now, my only problem is my list of links where I get to attach with the online community from time to time. :( I am still trying to fix/restore the other widgets before trying some of this.

Today is Philippine Independence Day

June 12 - Google Philippines shared his logo to the Filipinos all around the world to remind its Independence Day. June 12 marks the 112th day of independence where we saw the National Flag of the Philippines and sang our national anthem, Lupang Hinirang. This year 2010, it will be celebrated on June 14, which law provides that holidays, except those which are religious in nature, are moved to the nearest Monday.

My two cute pamangkins visited my place last month and stay for about two weeks or so. I was surprised when the two were like singing, 'when ya go down when ya go down down down'. It sounded familiar and cool but I didn't really know the song. I thought my pamangkins are super IN to music of today and it really wowed me. I mean, they're even much updated than me.

Anyways, while I was on my way to office I was kinda humming about the tune and just curious about the title is. And all throughout the day it was like my one and only song. Oh yes, I was hit by another last song syndrome again.

Matapos tayong gawing barbeque sa magdamag at pinapawis ng balde-balde sa mahabang panahon, eto na...

Medyo pabugso-bugso man siya na parang nahihiya pa eh at least dumating na siya. Ewan ko ba, sa inaraw-araw na pinapanalangin kong sana medyo lumamig lamig naman eh ngayon lang nakaramdam. Antagal kong maka-adjust ng ganoong katinding init, at pati na rin siguro ng karamihan. Siguro isang buong linggo na nahirapan akong ayusin ang aking pagtulog dahil dito.

Sa gabi, medyo humahangin-hangin na eh dati kahit buga lang ng konti pinagdadamot pa waaahhh.
