The much-awaited movie The Last Airbender by M. Night Shyamalan is now showing in Philippine Theaters nationwide.I am all set and excited to see the movie with some friends. Though I have read and heard not-so-good comments about it, I would still want to see it for myself. Some said it was boring and some was not quite satisfied because it was all about water benders. Well, if so, I see another movie sequel for this, hopefully they continue the storyline that will be build on this now showing Last Airbender movie.
And yet even before I watched this movie, an update from Yahoo! News got me,
A sequel to Nickelodeon's "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is in the works.Rumors has it that Korra will be a girl and a waterbender. She will be the next avatar after Aang. Aang shall be her avatar mentor like how Roku was to Aang.
The channel said Wednesday the new animated TV series will premiere in 2011. It has the working title, "The Legend of Korra."

Wow, I think I'd be stuck for this animated series once again. Let's see... ;)

The Legend of Korra was supposed to be released, October of 2011, but it was delayed due to some additional changes in the episodes.. That's what Wiki says.. The series is set to air in Spring 2012 on Nickelodeon. :)
